This page explains what information sbti.dev may collect, how that information is used, and what third-party tools support analytics, ads, and core site delivery.

SBTI is a lightweight quiz site. It does not offer user accounts, private messaging, or paid subscriptions, but it does use browser storage, analytics, and advertising technology to operate the site and measure performance.

1. Scope

What this policy covers

This privacy policy applies to sbti.dev and the public pages, quiz flows, result pages, leaderboard pages, and supporting assets served through this domain.

It covers information collected directly by the site, information stored in your browser for the quiz experience, and information collected by third-party services used for analytics, advertising, security, and content delivery.

2. Information

Information the site may collect

The site may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, approximate region, referring page, page views, and interaction events. Some of this information is collected automatically through logs, analytics scripts, ad technology, or CDN/security tooling.

If you take the quiz, the site may also store result-related state such as your final type, dimension snapshot, share-card preferences, and leaderboard submission state in your browser so the result page can render correctly and preserve your recent quiz context.

3. Browser storage

Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

SBTI may use browser storage, including localStorage and similar mechanisms, to remember quiz progress, result snapshots, share actions, and leaderboard submission status. This helps the result page know whether you came from the quiz and prevents repeated submission behavior in the same browser context.

Third-party partners such as analytics providers, advertising vendors, consent-management tools, or CDN/security services may also use cookies or similar technologies subject to their own policies and the configuration active on the site at the time of your visit.

4. Ads and analytics

Advertising, analytics, and third-party tools

The site may use Google Analytics or similar analytics tools to understand page traffic, content performance, and site usage trends. These services may collect identifiers, browser metadata, and usage data according to their own terms.

The site may also use advertising and monetization partners, including Ezoic and Google advertising technology, to display ads, optimize placements, measure ad performance, manage consent, and support revenue operations. These tools may process device identifiers, IP address, cookie data, and page-level signals for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.

Because SBTI uses third-party advertising and analytics tooling, some data may be processed by those partners independently under their own privacy notices. You should review the privacy and cookie policies of any third-party services that interact with your browser while using the site.

5. Leaderboard

Leaderboard submissions and quiz-result handling

If you choose to submit a result to the public leaderboard, the site may send a submission identifier and your final result type to the leaderboard API so the result can be counted. The site is designed to avoid treating every visitor as a leaderboard submission by default.

Leaderboard statistics shown on public pages are aggregate counts by type. The site does not present public user accounts or profile pages tied to a real-name identity.

6. Why data is used

How information may be used

Information processed through the site may be used to render quiz results, preserve recent quiz state, support leaderboard functionality, measure product usage, detect abuse, improve content and page performance, comply with consent requirements, and deliver advertising.

The site may also use technical and aggregate information to troubleshoot outages, monitor performance, and understand which pages or content types are most useful to visitors.

7. Retention

Retention and control

Browser-stored data remains under your control on your own device and can usually be removed by clearing site storage, cookies, or browser data. Third-party cookies or identifiers may persist according to the settings and retention policies of those services.

If you do not want this site to store quiz state in your browser, you can stop using the quiz or clear local data after your session. Blocking cookies, scripts, or storage may reduce site functionality.

8. Your choices

Your privacy choices

You may be able to control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings, privacy extensions, or consent interfaces shown on the site. Depending on your region, advertising and analytics consent tools may also offer additional options.

If you disable cookies, local storage, or third-party scripts, some quiz, result, leaderboard, analytics, or advertising features may stop working as intended.

9. Children

Children's privacy

SBTI is a public entertainment site and is not intentionally designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe sensitive information from a child has been submitted through the site, stop using the relevant feature and contact the site operator through any published contact channel available on the website at that time.

10. Changes

Policy updates

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time as the site, legal requirements, analytics setup, or advertising stack changes. The version on this page is the version that applies at the time of your visit unless otherwise stated.
